Welcome to the Indore Baptist Church website!
The Indore Baptist Church 2015 Bible Conference is scheduled for June 25-28. Here is a link to the Bible Conference Program.
When on the cross, my Lord I see
Bleeding to death, for wretched me;
Satan and sin no more can move,
For I am all transformed to love.
His thorns, and nails, pierce through my heart,
In every groan I bear a part;
I view his wounds with streaming eyes,
But see! he bows his head and dies!
Come, sinners, view the Lamb of God,
Wounded and dead, and bathed in blood!
Behold his side, and venture near,
The well of endless life is here.
Here I forget my cares and pains;
I drink, yet still my thirst remains;
Only the fountain–head above,
Can satisfy the thirst of love.
O, that I thus could always feel!
Lord, more and more thy love reveal!
Then my glad tongue shall loud proclaim
The grace and glory of thy name.
Thy name dispels my guilt and fear,
Revives my heart, and charms my ear;
Affords a balm for every wound,
And Satan trembles at the sound.
John Newton. Olney Hymnal. Book Two. Hymn #54.
We hope you can find something useful on our website!
There are several links on this page and the other pages of our website. Some of the links will take you to sermon material (audio sermons, written sermons, Bible Conference sermons, etc...). We may not be in agreement with all of the content (or the authors) that are included in these links; however, I believe that you can find much to help or be a blessing to you in your life for Christ.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." (John 10:1-11)
There is a search engine installed on this website - near the top of the page. If you utilize the search engine on this site, you can search for sermon titles, sermon topics, scripture references, persons, etc... The "Sermon" page still has its own features - you can list the sermons according to title, date, speaker, text, etc... But, I think this new search engine will make it easier to locate a particular topic or keyword or name within the sermons or anywhere else on this site. If you have any questions or comments, contact us now.
Thanks for visiting our website! May God Bless you, and may God Bless America!
We have scheduled our 2015 Bible Conference for June 25 - June 28. Please pray for us, and for those that would visit with us. We hope and pray that God will give us a time of revival, so that the saints of God and the Churches of Jesus Christ would be encouraged, rebuked, edified, and renewed in our zeal and passion for our God and our Saviour and the people of the Lord. Here is a link to the program/schedule for our 2015 Bible Conference.
It is our hope and prayer that the people of God in the United States of America, would petition God to grant us a time of repentance and faith in this country. Let us pray that God would bring the souls of men and women - especially some of those who are the politicians and leaders of this Nation - to a place where they would repent of their sins, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Saviour and the only hope of mankind. Let us also live lives that would be a good example to the world around us. If we desire revival and peace in our Nation, then we must be willing to live as God's people should. In fact, there will be no true revival or true peace in this country, unless it would begin in the Houses of God - the Churches of the Living God.
I have (3) books that are currently available at Amazon (and other bookstores). The books are entitled "Philemon and Onesimus," "The Armour of God," and "The Dangers of Sin." Click here to go to the Amazon storefront where the books are displayed. The books are available in paperback or digital format.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. (Gal 5:13-26)
"14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."(2Tim. 2:14-16.)
