Welcome to the Indore Baptist Church website!
"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)
A debtor to mercy alone,
Of covenant mercy I sing;
Nor fear, with thy righteousness on,
My person and offerings to bring.
The terrors of law and of God
With me can have nothing to do;
My Saviour’s obedience and blood
Hide all my transgressions from view.
The work which his goodness began,
The arm of his strength will complete;
His promise is Yea and Amen,
And never was forfeited yet.
Things future, nor things that are now,
Not all things below nor above,
Can make him his purpose forego,
Or sever my soul from his love.
My name from the palms of his hands
Eternity will not erase,
Impressed on his heart it remains,
In marks of indelible grace;
Yes, I to the end shall endure,
As sure as the earnest is given;
More happy, but not more secure,
The glorified spirits in heaven.
Augustus M. Toplady.
We hope you can find something useful on our website!
There are several links on this page and the other pages of our website. Some of the links will take you to sermon material (audio sermons, written sermons, Bible Conference sermons, etc...). We may not be in agreement with all of the content (or the authors) that are included in these links; however, I believe that you can find much to help or be a blessing to you in your life for Christ.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." (Romans 1:16-21)
There is a search engine installed on this website - near the top of the page. If you utilize the search engine on this site, you can search for sermon titles, sermon topics, scripture references, persons, etc... The "Sermon" page still has its own features - you can list the sermons according to title, date, speaker, text, etc... But, I think this new search engine will make it easier to locate a particular topic or keyword or name within the sermons or anywhere else on this site. If you have any questions or comments, contact us now.
Thanks for visiting our website! May God Bless you, and may God Bless America!

We have scheduled the "Church Organization" service of the Charleston Baptist Congregation, for Oct. 11, 2014. Please pray for the new Body of Christ, and for Pastor Jeff Short, as they seek to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in the Charleston, WV area.
The Indore Baptist Church requests your prayers for our Country. Please pray that God will save the souls of our elected leaders; or, that He will give us new leaders who are saved by the grace of God. We desire that the United States of America would be a Nation that would fear God, and give the due respect unto Him and His Word that He deserves.
Pray that the Lord would help us to stem the advance of the sinners who are perpetrating the evil social sins of our day. These liberal and sinful elements of our society are brain-washing our children (and many of the adults). The situation of our society and our moralities have devolved to such a state, that we can no longer teach absolute right and wrong. Our Nation and our People have lost their moral compass! Without the Word of God we cannot hope to persevere for long. And, our Nation cannot hope to long resist the attacks from within and without, if we will not turn back to the Word of God and the teachings that are found therein.
Please pray for our Church, that we would be a blessing to the community in which we live. Please pray for the ministries of our Church, that we can carry the Gospel to the lost, and exhort and encourage the saved.
I have (3) books that are currently available at Amazon (and other bookstores). The books are entitled "Philemon and Onesimus," "The Armour of God," and "The Dangers of Sin." "Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;Who will render to every man according to his deeds:To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:For there is no respect of persons with God." "14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."(2Tim. 2:14-16.)
