Welcome to the Indore Baptist Church website!

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:23-26)

"Heaven is a stately palace, with a narrow portal; there must be both stripping and straining ere one can get through this strait gate. The greatest wealth is ordinarily tumoured up with the greatest swelth of rebellion against God. Pride breeds in wealth as the worm doth in the apple, and he is a great rich man indeed and greater than his riches, that doth not think himself great because he is rich. Have them we may, and use them too; but mind them we may not, nor love them; that is spiritual harlotry, such as Gods soul hateth, and He smiteth His hands at.

Because rich men's hearts are ordinarily so wedded and wedged to the world that they will not be loosened but by a powerful touch from the hand of Heaven. Think not, therefore, as many do, that there is no other hell but poverty, no better heaven than abundance."

We hope you can find something useful on our website!

There is a slideshow of pictures at the top of the page. All of the pictures are taken in WV - most from the immediate vicinity of Clay County, WV.

There are several links on this page and the other pages of our website. Some of the links will take you to sermon material (audio sermons, written sermons, Bible Conference sermons, etc...). We may not be in agreement with all of the content (or the authors) that are included in these links; however, I believe that you can find much to help or be a blessing to you in your life for Christ.

If you have any comments or questions, please submit them via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

"We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake." (1 Thessalonians 1:2-5)

There is a search engine installed on this website - near the top of the page. If you utilize the search engine on this site, you can search for sermon titles, sermon topics, scripture references, persons, etc... The "Sermon" page still has its own features - you can list the sermons according to title, date, speaker, text, etc... But, I think this new search engine will make it easier to locate a particular topic or keyword or name within the sermons or anywhere else on this site. If you have any questions or comments, contact us now.

Thanks for visiting our website! May God Bless you, and may God Bless America!

The Indore Baptist Church requests your prayers for our Country. Please pray that God will save the souls of our elected leaders; or, that He will give us new leaders who are saved by the grace of God. We desire that the United States of America would be a Nation that would fear God, and give the due respect unto Him and His Word that He deserves.

Pray that the Lord would help us to stem the advance of the sinners who are perpetrating the evil social sins of our day. These liberal and sinful elements of our society are brain-washing our children (and many of the adults). The situation of our society and our moralities have devolved to such a state, that we can no longer teach absolute right and wrong. Our Nation and our People have lost their moral compass! Without the Word of God we cannot hope to persevere for long. And, our Nation cannot hope to long resist the attacks from within and without, if we will not turn back to the Word of God and the teachings that are found therein.

Please pray for our Church, that we would be a blessing to the community in which we live. Please pray for the ministries of our Church, that we can carry the Gospel to the lost, and exhort and encourage the saved.

The 2013 Bible Conference was a great blessing. Click here to go to the webpage with the audio sermons for the Bible Conference.

The Church and the visitors enjoyed the services, and we would like to express our appreciation for all of those that preached, and all of those that participated.

"Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living." (Psalms 116:7-9)

What We Believe

Posted in Church Information

"14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."(2Tim. 2:14-16.)

The following is not meant to be an exhaustive account of what it is that we believe. Hopefully, however, the following Statement will suffice as a summary of our Beliefs. If you have further questions about what we Teach and Believe here at Indore Baptist Church, please do not hesitate to contact us.
